what I was most afraid of
When I was younger, the one thing I was most afraid of was the dark. The fact that my dad told me all these really scary stories about vampires and the boogyman didn't help this fear. I would imagine seeing figures and hearing voices unfimiliar. Even covering my face with my blanket didn't help because then I felt like I couldn't lift it up or I'd would see what I feared most. This relates to "Lord of the Flies" because all the boys on the island have a constant fear of the beastie that may or may not be real. To this day, if I watch a scary movie I still sometimes get freaked out and think something is out to get me. Then I remember it's all in my head.
